Tonya started singing at the age of 6. As she grew older, she would go with her father to local jails when he went to preach. He would let her sing. The inmates would get quiet and come to the front bars to hear “the little girl with the big voice.” Her gift of song prepared them to hear words of encouragement and empowerment.
Tonya, being very close to her Dad, saw how to show compassion toward mankind. She worked right beside him as he helped, fed, and showed unconditional love to people in need all over the United States. This album is a compilation of songs that have come from Tonya's life experiences.
Tonya’s version of the passionate single release, “Put My Hand in Yours,” is just a sample of just how engaging her voice can be.
